Donations Still Needed for Halloween Party

Hello to all!!

Just a note to let you know that we have confirmed donations for the
following:
Chips & Pretzels
1 -2 liter of Sprite (Still need 2 more)
1 -2 liter of Orange (Still need more)
1 large bag of Spider webs (Still need 1 more)
8 rolls of toilet paper (Still need 28 more)
3 bags of candy (Still need 5-7 more large bags)

We still need the following off of the list:

-Candy (5 points per bag)

-Cookies (5 points per tray)
-Chocolate Gold Coins (5 points per bag)
-25-30 Rubber Snakes (5 points)
-25-30 rolls of Toilet Paper (5 points)

-10 Plastic Skulls (3 points)
-4-5 rolls each of Orange and Black crepe paper (3 points)
-25 each of black and gold balloons (3 points)
-15 large cans of Vanilla Redi Whip (5 points for 5 cans)
-10 bags of Sour Gummy Worms (5 points per bag)
-10 large tubs of Chocolate pudding (5 points per tub)
-30 tin pie pans (5 points for 10 pans)
- scary movies (make sure you label your movie)
-anything else that would be good decorations (I.e. skeletons, motion
activated witches or bats, etc.)
-prizes I.e. gift cards etc. Solicitations are in the office (10 points
per donation)

Whatever you can do to help would be wonderful! There is a sign up
sheet on the bulletin board under the Halloween Flyer. Please feel free
to drop stuff off in the big blue box by the file cabinet. Just make
sure to sign for it on the sheet.

Induction Ceremony Meeting/Point Opportunities

On OCTOBER 20, 2006, FRIDAY, we are going to have the induction
ceremony and we need volunteers to help us set-up for the induction.

If you want to join the set-up/decorations committee, please let me
know ASAP. You will earn 8 points for every hour devoted including the planning meetings.

Here is the meeting schedule:
10/16/06 – 10am @ Student Activities office. Also, we will be doing
decorations that day so bring your own scissors and small paint brush

Chocolate Donations: please drop it in the office
-       Hershey’s nuggets (dark chocolate only, wrapped in black and gold)
-       Hershey’s kisses ( with almonds only, wrapped in gold foil)

Points Agreement:
-       8 points – every hour spent in planning meetings, set-up for the
inductions, etc.
-       5 points – 3 bags of chocolate donations, any combinations

If you plan to join in the set-up/decorations committee, let me know.
We will also include your name on the power point presentation and
program list if you will volunteer.

Tanya, VP of Fellowship, will start to set-up decorations on 10/20 -
1PM Grand Conference Room.

Halloween Party Fundraiser

Thank you for being patient. Several of you have contacted me about
wanting to participate in this event.

The link is below. You have to enter your name and school email
address. They will then take you to the costume site. They will then
provide you a link to send to your friends and family so you can get
credit for your referals.

I would like to remind everyone that we are giving points to those
people who participate and/ or whose friends/ family purchase a
costume. The chapter receives 12% profits from each sale.

Also, I know that the company says you have to email 20 people in order
to participate. We ( this chapter) are not expecting that everyone do
that, nor are we saying that you can’t participate unless you forward
the link to at least 20 people. Obviously, we appreciate any and all
efforts that members put in to this fundraiser which is why we are
giving you a reward for participating.

Halloween Party Point Opportunities

Hi everyone,We just had our Halloween Party meeting yesterday and there are a lot
of things we still need donated. The things we need are:

The is a maximum of 20 points overall for donations. There will be
another meeting for the Halloween Party on October 20th at 12pm in

Garage Sale Point Opportunities

Hey everyone!  We are still in great need of donations (remember
clothes and books only!!) for the Garage Sale for our 6th Benefit Car
Show on Oct 22nd, from 9-3 in Parking lot 5.  So everyone needs to
clean out their closets and get their bags into the office by FRIDAY
the 20TH!!  Otherwise you may drop it off the day of the show. 
Remember all proceeds go the American Cancer Society, and any leftovers
will be donated to the Salvation Army and a local shelter.  This is a
great way to get rid of allllll the books and clothes that you don’t
use anymore!
Also, now each bag of clothes or books that you donate will give you 10
POINTS!!!!  (instead of 5) with a new maximum of 50 POINTS!!!!!!!!

Pigs in a blanket (need 4 dozen) (3 points each dozen)

Soda (Sprite especially!! Coke, Diet Coke) (Need 2 of each in a 24
pack) (5 points each 24 pack)
Water (big bulk pack by bottles, or 4 gallons) (7 points)
Juice (Cranberry, Apple) (1 gallon each) (5 points per gallon)
Sugar Packets (1 box needed) (3 points)
Equal/Splenda Packets (1 box needed) (3 points)
Coffee (one medium sized can) (3 points)
Other:
Paper Plates (need 300-350) (7 points)
Plastic Cups (need 250) (5 points)
Coffee Cups (Need 150-200) (3 points)
Utensils (Forks, Spoons, Knives) (need 150 each) (5 points each 150)

**All non-perishable donations can be dropped off at the office
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. There will be a box in front of our office.
Please sign the sheet near the box with your name, time of drop off,
and donation. Perishable donations may be dropped off the day of the
Induction Ceremony anywhere from 9am-6pm.

Halloween Campus Fundraiser

Hello everyone,

PTK has the opportunity to raise money through a program called Campus Fundraiser. They offer a bunch of different programs for campus groups who are wishing to raise money. The event we have chosen is a costume fundraiser. PTK will get 12% profits from every costume bought through an online costume company. They have some really great costumes that aren’t expensive. The money we raise will go towards PTK programs such as the Induction Ceremony, Halloween Party, Dinner for Darfur, etc.

Everyone who participates in this fundraiser will get points. You will also get points for any purchases made by your family and friends. Don’t forget we are having a PTK Halloween Party on Oct 27th! I need to know by this Friday at noon those people who want to participate in this fundraiser. Email me ASAP so I can send the link of the website along with the code to those persons wishing to help us out. If you have any questions, please email me.
